PHYSICAL EDUCATION:
A very important part in the growth of a child. 2 well trained and experienced PET’s involve themselves in developing interest in children in all fields of sports. At present the students have the option to play a game of their choice from basket ball, table tennis, ball badminton, shuttle cock, volley ball, throw ball, etc. Indoor games like chess, carom board are also provided.
Students of std I enjoy games thrice a week, Std II and III – twice a week, Std IV to VIII – once a week. Inter house competitions are held every Saturdays for students of classes VI to VIII.
A big swimming pool of 4 ft depth has been built for the students of Std I to V for whom swimming once has been made compulsory. This has been included in their timetable and they have weekly classes. The students of Std VI to VIII are free to use the pool after school hours. They have classes twice a week.
